Who I am

Hidden Paths Psychotherapy & Consultation Services was founded in Fall 2021 out of the growing need to address children and adolescent mental health. Founder Cyrus Hair, MSW, LICSW received his training at the University of Minnesota where he completed a Social Work Fellowship in Integrated Behavioral Health. 

I grew up as an “Army Brat” who went to three different high schools in three years, and am a first-generation college graduate. I draw upon my experiences of transitions, grief & loss, and identity exploration as a man of color in my clinical work with children and their families. I am trained in experiential play therapy and EMDR, but choose to take an interpersonal approach to lessen the stigma and worry that sometimes comes with starting a therapeutic relationship. Outside of work, I will most likely be spending time with my dog, Maya, and my cat, Cinnamon, playing video games, watching anime, or learning about cryptocurrencies and stocks.
